Yoga has specific techniques that deal with the science of the mind. We will study the nature of the mind is recognized as yoga in this chapter. Shankaracharya has defined the spirit of four ways for its functions: manas for employment and resolve doubts; buddhi of the decision and award; asmita for awareness of its existence and to remember the chita previous experiences. The Spirit is a vast collection of thoughts and traces of past experiences. When you were born, your mind is the collection of samskaras data collected during the preceding births. Those samskaras, the fruits of which have already been loved has been eliminated. But as you grow, new samskaras are added continuously as a result of various acts done by you from birth to death. This is reflected in the law of karma, which states that the events is facing in his life are the results of the activities carried out by it in the past and his mind at birth contains the samskaras of his previous births.
Yoga recognizes five basic factors in the minds of every person. They are called kleshas because they are the ancestors of all human misery. They are: avidya is false knowledge or ignorance of his true identity in relation to the objects; asmita ego or sentiment since in yoga, body and soul are two different aspects; raga is pleasant taste of experience; dvesha or aversion At pain; abhinivesha or fear of death. Yoga understands human behavior in the context of these five qualities that are supposed to be present in person since birth and are regarded as impurities of the mind. They make a person unstable and agitated. Hence yoga has given way to Dhyana and pranayam to clean your mind.
